NOTES on TEAM SCORING

1. Team scores for incomplete teams are made up by adding last finisher + 1, +2, +3 as required (indicated with []).

2. Incomplete teams are placed after complete teams, with teams of 3 put before teams of 2 then teams with 1 runner. Where two clubs have the same team score, the club with the highest placed last counter is placed "first"

THANKS to :

Roy Tunstall and his colleagues from Helsby; Simon Ellis and his from Tattenhall, Halton & Frodsham members and the League Officials for arriving at 9am to set the course up - we even managed a cup of coffee before the races started.

Our officials - using a new double finish system which appeared to work well

A plea to some team managers - PLEASE put your runners in order of finishing on the envelopes. A couple of clubs seemed to think random order helps us!!

You will probably note differences in team scores between those in Athletics Weekly and here. Some of this is the problem mentioned above; but for Senior/Vet M&F there is not enough time to sort out the separate Vets placings before I get called by AW at 6pm on Sunday evening.
